The LANDING GEAR lever has three positions, UP to retract the gear, DN to extend the gear and OFF to remove hydraulic pressure from the system.

 

The LANDING GEAR lever incorporates an Override Trigger, which permits the LANDING GEAR lever lock to be bypassed and the gear to be raised.

 

The top LANDING GEAR indicator lights are illuminated red when one or more of the gear is in disagreement with the lever position. This is normal when the gear are in transit, but may also indicate an unsafe condition.

 

The lights will also illuminate when the aircraft is below 800 ft AGL with the gear not down and locked and one or both thrust levers are retarded to IDLE.

 

The RED lights are extinguished once the gear is up and locked and the LANDING GEAR lever is UP or OFF. They are also extinguished when the gear is down and locked and the LANDING GEAR lever is DN.

 

The bottom LANDING GEAR indicator lights are illuminated green when the associated gear is down and locked. An extinguished light means that particular gear is not down and locked.

 

On the Aft Overhead panel there is another set of Landing Gear Indicator Lights. These operate from separate circuits and show green when the associated gear is down and locked.

 

Only one GREEN light, on either the Center panel or the Overhead panel, needs to be illuminated for that gear to be considered down and locked.

 

Landing gear retraction and extension, as well as nose wheel steering, receives power from Hydraulic System A.

 

System B is the alternate source of hydraulic power for the nose wheel steering.

 

If necessary, all landing gear may be lowered manually.

 

Normal brakes are powered by Hydraulic System B. Alternate brakes are powered by Hydraulic System A.

 

An optional Brake Temperature Monitoring System (BTMS) displays each main landing gear brake temperature on the lower DU.

 

Both systems provide antiskid protection. Autobrakes are only available with the normal brake system.

 

There is an operating limitation that prevents the use of assumed temperature reduced takeoff thrust when antiskid is inoperative.

또한, 항공기가 800ft AGL(지상 기준) 이하이고 기어가 내려 잠금되지 않은 상태에서 하나 또는 두 개의 스러스트 레버가 IDLE(공회전)로 감속될 경우에도 적색 표시등이 점등됩니다.

 

적색 표시등은 기어가 완전히 올라가 잠금되었고, 랜딩 기어 레버가 UP 또는 OFF 위치에 있을 때 소등됩니다. 또한, 기어가 완전히 내려가 잠금되었고, 랜딩 기어 레버가 DN 위치에 있을 때도 소등됩니다.

 

하단 랜딩 기어 표시등은 해당 기어가 내려가 잠금되었을 때 녹색으로 점등됩니다. 해당 표시등이 꺼져 있다면, 해당 기어가 내려 잠금되지 않은 상태를 의미합니다.

 

후방 오버헤드 패널(Aft Overhead Panel)에는 또 다른 랜딩 기어 표시등 세트가 있으며, 별도의 회로에서 작동하며 해당 기어가 내려 잠금되었을 때 녹색으로 점등됩니다.

 

센터 패널 또는 오버헤드 패널 중 어느 한 곳에서라도 해당 기어의 녹색 표시등이 하나라도 점등되어 있으면, 그 기어는 내려 잠금된 것으로 간주됩니다.

 

랜딩 기어의 접힘 및 전개, 그리고 노즈 휠 조향은 유압 시스템 A에서 동력을 공급받습니다.

 

시스템 B는 노즈 휠 조향을 위한 보조 유압 전원 공급원입니다.

 

필요할 경우, 모든 랜딩 기어는 수동으로 내릴 수 있습니다.

 

정상 브레이크는 유압 시스템 B에서 동력을 공급받으며, 대체 브레이크는 유압 시스템 A에서 동력을 공급받습니다.

 

선택적으로 설치 가능한 브레이크 온도 모니터링 시스템(BTMS)은 메인 랜딩 기어 브레이크 온도를 하단 디스플레이 유닛(DU)에 표시합니다.

 

두 시스템 모두 미끄럼 방지(안티스kid) 기능을 제공하며, 자동 브레이크는 정상 브레이크 시스템에서만 사용할 수 있습니다.

 

운용 제한 사항으로 인해, 미끄럼 방지 기능이 작동하지 않을 경우 추정 온도를 이용한 감속 이륙 추력(Assumed Temperature Reduced Takeoff Thrust) 사용이 금지됩니다.
